Watch Bands

Watch bands attach by a case-size-specific lug, so a band is bought by case width instead of by watch model name. Apple Watch bands are cross-compatible in two size groups; Galaxy Watch and Garmin use standard 20mm or 22mm quick-release pins, which opens up a much wider market than the manufacturer's own range.

Apple splits into small and large groups; most Garmin and Galaxy watches take standard 20mm or 22mm quick-release bands, which is worth knowing because it makes almost any band on the market a candidate.
